Every transition brings its own weight, but this one came with a sense of excitement.
Moving from my time at Torch into a creative studio like Observ genuinely feels like stepping into a new domain. Everything operates on a different frequency here: new faces, faster rhythms, diverse clients, and a different kind of responsibility. Being trusted to lead the visual side across photography, video, and motion is a challenge I am eager to grow into.
After spending so much time sharpening my craft, it is rewarding to see those skills become part of something larger than my own workflow. Working as a lead also changes the way I look at the work. It is no longer only about getting the right frame, finishing an edit, or making a motion piece work. It is about communicating an idea clearly, trusting the people around you, and knowing when to step in or step back.
What I enjoy most is the rhythm of a small team. Things move quickly, but there is still room to think, experiment, and challenge each other. When everyone is working toward the same idea, the process becomes just as valuable as the final frame.
This feels like the beginning of a different chapter for me. A new environment, a higher level of responsibility, and plenty more to learn.
